"Gonzales Freighter"

Gonzales Freighter

"Gonzales Freighter" 9 x 12 inches, painted en plein air in oils.

Artist Keith Hiscock told me that the rock is called an ERRATIC because it doesn't belong here -
We think it was brought to Gonzales Bay by glacial movement during the ice age 15-thousand years ago.
Anyway, it's a nice perch for Nelson the Seagull with the Olympic Mountains of the USA in the distance.
The freighter is heading towards Victoria Harbour in BC during a warm winter's day.
